Extraordinary Education Family Learning Center
Extraordinary Education Family Learning Center is a member-owned, member supported, member-driven learning community providing educational and social resources for homeschooling families in the South Montgomery Country area.
Benefits of Basic Program Membership
- Receive regular Extraordinary Education online newsletter and updates.
- Participate in the Extraordinary Education online community and email group.
- Receive our Extraordinary Education Member Directory and other resources.
Additional Benefits of Full Membership
- Enroll in all classes, clubs and teams offered by Extraordinary Education including the Jason Co-op and competitive teams.
- Eligible to participate as a volunteer, teacher and in leadership positions for tuition reduction.
- Run for and serve on Parent Executive Board.
- Vote in community elections and participate in Town Hall meetings.
Family Membership
Extraordinary Education operates as a cooperative learning community. Each family is asked to help cover the general operating expenses of the program such as insurance, background checks, facility use/utilities, general supplies, and administrative costs.
All families must pay Membership Dues in order to participate in programs provided by the Extraordinary Education Learning Center. The level of membership will determine the programs in which a family may participate as well as the cost of some classes and activities.
Families should also expect to pay tuition fees and possibly materials fees, supply fees, competition fees and other fees for specific classes and activities in which they choose to participate.
Volunteer Commitment: All members of Extraordinary Education are expected to fulfill a minimum volunteer commitment. Full Members may earn additional volunteer credits to reduce tuition fees.
Membership Options
For the 2006-2007 school year, we have established the following Membership Options:
FULL Membership - FULL membership entitles the family to earn volunteer credits that may be applied to tuition fees, run for office and vote in Member Meetings, and represent the school by participating in EEFLC sponsored teams and competitions.
Families must be FULL members in order to participate in the JASON Co-op program and the Competition Program.
Members who teach a class, lead a club or team or run for office must sign our Statement of Faith.
FULL Membership Options
Annual - Annual memberships are valid for 12 months. (July 1st - June 30th)
Semester - Semester memberships are valid for 6 months. (July 1st-Dec. 31st / Jan. 1st - June 30th)
- $100/family/year (if paid on or before July 1st)
- $125/family/year (if paid after July 1st)
- $60/family/semester (if paid on or before July 1st for Fall or January 1st for Spring)
- $75/family/semester (if paid after July 1st for Fall or after January 1st for Spring)
Basic Program Membership entitles the family to participate in individual classes, clubs or special programs.
Basic Program member families may not earn volunteer credits, run for office or vote in Member Meetings.
Families may upgrade to a FULL membership during the year.
Basic Program Membership - Basic Program membership is valid for one year or one semester and is due at the time of class registration.

- $15/family/6-week term (valid for one term only)
